World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD) is an awareness day observed on the 10th September every year, in order to provide worldwide commitment and action to prevent suicides, with various activities around the world since 2003.
With this in mind, EVE Cherryfield are hosting an event all about inspiring everyone to ask that simple but important question “Are you OK?” and start a conversation that could change a life.
The participants and staff in EVE Cherryfield support World Prevention Day and believe in the work of the organisation R U OK? and would like to inspire everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and support anyone struggling with life.
Conversations that are geared towards helping people feel supported and connected can make a difference. When we invest more time in our relationships, it can make it easier for people to speak up, access help if needed and access it early.
