“I had never being to the national show centre before, it was the biggest place we were ever in to play bocce. And I thought the organisation of the whole event was fantsitic. It was nice to see both the sea scouts and army men and the guards there to supports and give out the medals. It was beautifully set out. I was delighted that my mum, brother and my little niece came to see me play it was a pleasant surprise.”- Yvonne Halstead

“I am so happy that I won a bronze medal and I had a great time Friday and Saturday.  My parents came to watch me play and were delighted with me.”- Mary McGuirk
