EVE Goirtín

Art Exhibition

EVE Goirtin’s are hosting a wonderful art exhibition using recyclable materials. The artists have created some beautiful work and visitors from EVE Tuiscint stated that “we some great ideas for our own art classes”. See an artwork of a Peacock below which was created using in mixed media created and was created by Brendan Dunne. The feathers and colours of the peacock were depicted very creatively in this piece.

These clever monochrome decoupage canvases below are made with a background of music manuscript pages.

These pretty mixed media pieces show the versatility of using found objects at home, like the inside of toilet rolls!

And most impressive of all, this wonderful large work on wood, using bottle tops to spell out the centre’s name. If you look closely inside the bottle tops, you will see words spelled out that have a special meaning to the centre, like ‘recovery’.

Well done to all at Goirtin for an amazing Art Exhibition!
