On Tuesday the 13th of September Cairdeas Clubhouse members and staff met with members of Bray Area Partnership Disability Network, in the people’s park in Bray to mark the Green ribbon campaign. Everyone enjoyed a picnic of food prepared in the Clubhouse. Members and staff handed out a Green Ribbon pack which included a Green Ribbon, a Samaritans wristband, a Kit-Kat, and a tea bag to everyone they stopped to have a brief chat with. The idea of the pack was to encourage us all to take the time to talk.
A lovely afternoon in the park was had by all and thankfully it did not rain!
Cairdeas Clubhouse members and staff would like to thank everyone who came along, especially those from the Disability Network. For Cairdeas, this was their biggest outing for a long time and they look forward to many, more in the future.
