EVE Larine recently attended a bird walk in the grounds of Maynooth University as part of Biodiversity week led by Bird Watch Ireland and Maynooth Green Campus.
This talk was open to the public and was a very informative tour. Overall it was a very enjoyable morning.
We got to see lots of birds around the Campus including the more common birds such as the crow, wood pidgeon and swift. We also saw some of the more unusual ones such as the fastest bird in the world, the Peregrine Falcon that has nested on one of the many building on campus.
